Caffeo CI: The brewing unit cannot be reinserted (alternative procedure).

Caffeo CI: The drive shaft may not be in the correct position.
Step 1: Insert the water tank and drip tray.
Step 2: Then press and hold the My Coffee button and the on/off button simultaneously for more than 2 seconds. The drive shaft will move to the correct position.
Step 3: Then press and hold the buttons for 1 and 2 cups of coffee simultaneously for more than 2 seconds. The drive shaft will move to the correct position.
Step 4: Reinsert the brewing unit and verify that it has clicked into place correctly.
