Latte Select: What is 'Intensive Cleaning'?

Latte Select: 'Intensive Cleaning' is a cleaning programme for the Caffeo® Latte Select® milk system. We recommend running this programme at least once a week, depending on usage. The machine will automatically remind you to run the programme.
To run the 'Intensive Cleaning' programme, you will need Melitta® PerfectCLEAN milk system cleaner.
Step 1: Add 50 ml (one measuring mark) of the cleaner to the milk reservoir and fill the milk reservoir with 450 ml of warm water (up to 0.5 l).
Step 2: Start the 'Intensive Cleaning' programme via 'Maintenance' in the menu.
Step 3: After cleaning, rinse the milk reservoir thoroughly with water.
